Join me for a two-day Draping workshop on 8th and 9th January 2025

Over 2 days, you will learn about Draping: Starting with an image or sketch of a garment and draping the fabric directly onto the mannequin is a creative way to achieve the desired volume and silhouette. We use this drape to then create a paper pattern that is instantly closer to the design as it has been draped on the body which is the chosen size and proportion. 

In my workshop you will create your own pattern for a garment by draping fabric, cutting and pinning it into shape, marking out the design and translating the drape into a paper pattern. This pattern that you will take home can be used for cutting and sewing up your final garment. There will be many demonstrations and tips along the way. Calico, paper, instruction booklet and fabric pen included.
