Workshop: Create a personalised Bodice Block pattern
This workshop is for sewing enthusiasts who want to take it to the next level and step into the world of pattern making. Block patterns that fit perfectly are an amazing tool to start any new design. Block patterns in standard sizes 8-22 are provided as a starting point to alter to your personal measurements. We will take measurements, create the pattern, cut and sew the bodice with sleeves up in calico, have a fitting and make any final amendments for the perfect fit. Open to women, men and everyone. A 2-day workshop with a small group of 5 students. Learn about what you can make with your personalised blocks in the following workshop in April.

Materials supplied:
Calico, paper, information booklet, tea, coffee and sweet treats.
Students to bring:
Sewing equipment including machine and pedal, scissors for paper and fabric, pins, measuring tape, ruler, mechanical pencil and leads, eraser, sticky tape (preferably magic tape by Scotch to write over).
There are a limit number of sewing machines available to borrow if you don't want to bring yours. Please email me as soon as you have booked at info@paperclothcut.com.
Parking: There are some spots available to the left as you turn into the driveway and free parking in the side streets. You can drop your sewing machine at the circular driveway before parking from 9:30am.
Lunch options: BYO lunch or choose from many options on Beaufort Street within a 5-minute walk.
Arrive from 9:30am for a 10am start.
