Size 1 – Bicep of 26cm or 10 ¼ inches. Size 1 is an industry standard Australian/UK size 6-8 and is used for models.
Size 2 – Bicep of 28.3cm or 11 ¼ inches. Size 2 is 10-12 AU/UK,
Size 3 – Bicep of 31.5cm or 12 3/8 inches. Size 3 is 14-16 AU/UK.

Tailor’s Arm sewing instructions
A4 Format PDF nest of all sizes to print at home. Each size is 10 pages of printing. The printing guide can be found in the sewing instructions.
A1 Format PDF, one for each size to take to a copy shop.
Please print the files at 100%, you can check this in page settings when you press print. For the A4 format, print the first page with a 10cm x 10cm test square and measure the square to check you are printing at 100%. The test square is also on the A1 format.
Once you have purchased the pattern you will see a link to download the zip file. You will also receive this link via email. The link expires after 24 hours so be sure to save it to your computer before then.
Level
I recommend this pattern for people who have some experience with sewing, who can thread and use a sewing machine. Beginners are encouraged to try this pattern!
Fabric and Materials
Calico 1m x 1m or approximately 1.2 x 1.2 yards
Cardboard 1 x A4
Stuffing about 200g. You can use toy stuffing for a very soft light arm, or fabric scraps for a more solid arm that can also be used as a sleeve pressing tool.
Thread
This design is for woven fabrics with a stable weave such as light to medium weight cotton. If you like you can also use a print fabric or a colour that matches your mannequin. If the fabric is lighter than calico I recommend fusing it with fusible interfacing before you cut out the arms.
